Tenchi Muyo! (role-playing Game)
''Tenchi Muyo!'' is a role-playing game published by Guardians of Order in 2000 that is based on the 1992 ''Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki'' (天地無用! 魎皇鬼) anime series. Description ''Tenchi Muyo!'' is a role-playing game that uses the Tri-Stat System of role-playing game rules. Players can take on the roles of any of the main characters in the anime series, even the villains. Alternatively players can make up their own characters. Publication history In 1992, Masaki Kajishima created the six-part OVA ''Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki''. In 2000, Guardians of Order acquired the license to create a role-playing game. David L. Pulver, who had worked on a number of licensed, standalone games for Guardians of Order, also designed this 200-page softcover book, with contributions by Karen McLarney, and artwork by McLarney and Jeff Mackintosh. Tenchi Muyo, Role-playing Game
The following is a list of the major characters from the anime and manga series ''Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki'' and its spin-offs ''Tenchi Muyo! GXP'', ''Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar'', ''Tenchi Universe'', ''Tenchi in Tokyo'', and ''Ai Tenchi Muyo!''. Concept Masaki Kajishima and Hiroki Hayashi, who both worked on the ''Bubblegum Crisis'' OVAs, cite the show as being the inspiration for ''Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki''. In an interview with AIC, Hayashi described ''Bubblegum Crisis'' as "A pretty gloomy anime. Serious fighting, complicated human relationships, and dark Mega Tokyo." Hayashi and Kajishima thought it would be fun to create some comedic episodes with ideas like the girls going to hot springs, but these ideas were rejected by their sponsors. Masaki Kajishima
Masaki Kajishima (梶島 正樹 ''Kajishima Masaki'', born March 16, 1962) is a Japanese animator and storyboard artist who works for AIC in a freelance capacity. He is best known as the creator of ''Tenchi Muyo!'' and ''Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure''. The main character of ''Tenchi Muyo!'', Tenchi Masaki, was named after Kajishima (although the "Masaki" in Tenchi's name is the character's surname and is written with different kanji). by Yōsuke Kuroda and Masaki Kajishima Kajishima was born in Japan in Okayama Prefecture.
