Ten Ways
Ten Ways (formerly Ten Ways from Sunday) is a Canadian progressive rock band formed in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia in 2001, and based in nearby Coquitlam. The band was selected as one of five British Columbian bands to perform on CBC Television's Great Canadian Music Dream event in January 2003. Their song "You've Been Around" was featured in EA Sports' video game ''NHL 2004'' and was selected for CFOX-FM, CFOX's 2003 ''Vancouver Seeds'' compilation. The band has independently released two EPs, ''What I Wanted'' (produced by Tom Baker, 2003) and ''Ten Ways from Sunday'' (produced by Devin Townsend, 2005). They independently released their debut album ''The Solution'' on iTunes in May 2010http://www.rvpdrums.com/rvp_bio.html and have since been inactive. Port Coquitlam
Port Coquitlam ( ) is a city in British Columbia, Canada. Located east of Vancouver, it is on the north bank of the confluence of the Fraser River and the Pitt River. Coquitlam borders it on the north, the Coquitlam River borders it on the west, and the city of Pitt Meadows lies across the Pitt River from it. Port Coquitlam is bisected by Lougheed Highway and the Canadian Pacific Railway. Port Coquitlam is often referred to as "PoCo". It is Canada's 93rd-largest municipality by population. History The area was long inhabited by indigenous peoples, most recently by the historic Coast Salish people, including the ''Kwikwetl'em''. The first European settlers began farming beside the Pitt River in 1859. A major impetus to the creation of a municipality was when the Canadian Pacific Railway moved its freight terminus from Vancouver to "Westminster Junction", building a spur line to the Fraser River port of New Westminster in 1911.
