Tempted (TV Series)
''Tempted'' () is a 2018 South Korean television series starring Woo Do-hwan, Joy, Kim Min-jae, and Moon Ga-young. It is loosely based on the 1782 French novel ''Les Liaisons dangereuses'' by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. The series aired from March 12 to May 1, 2018 on MBC TV's Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 ( KST) time slot for 32 episodes. Synopsis A romantic melodrama that depicts the lives of a young man and woman who begin to discover their true feelings whilst playing the dangerous game of love. She is best known as a former member of South Korean-Japanese girl group Iz*One after finishing 11th in Mnet's girl group survival show ''Produce 48,'' representing Urban Works. ''Les Liaisons dangereuses'' (; English: ''Dangerous Liaisons'') is a French epistolary novel by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, first published in four volumes by Durand Neveu from March 23, 1782. It is the story of the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont, two amoral lovers-turned-rivals who amuse themselves by ruining others and who ultimately destroy each other. It has been seen as depicting the corruption and depravity of the French nobility shortly before the French Revolution, and thereby attacking the Ancien Régime despite having been written nearly a decade prior to those events.
