The Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law is the law school of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1895 and enrolls about 530 students. ''Temple Law Review'' is a student-edited law review, sponsored by the Temple University Beasley School of Law. The journal is "dedicated to providing a forum for the expression of new legal thought and scholarly commentary on important developments, trends, and issues in the law." Moot court is a co-curricular activity at many law schools. Participants take part in simulated court or arbitration proceedings, usually involving drafting memorials or memoranda and participating in oral argument. In most countries, the phrase "moot court" may be shortened to simply "moot" or "mooting". Participants are either referred to as "mooters" or, less conventionally, "mooties".
