Teloch
Morten Bergeton Iversen (born 19 November 1974), better known by his stage name Teloch ( ), is a Norwegian black metal musician known for being a live guitarist for Gorgoroth, God Seed and 1349. He is currently the guitarist for Mayhem. Career Teloch's musical career began in the early 1990s in a punk band called Dødsdømt and a thrash/death metal band called Legions from Horten (Vestfold). He founded Nidingr in 1996. That same year they recorded their first demo show 1996 and, in 1999, the second demo. In 2004, he joined the band Orcustus. In 2005 Nidingr published their first studio album, ''Sorrow Infinite and Darkness''. In 2006, he joined the band 1349 as a live guitarist. The following year he left 1349 and was contracted as guitarist by the band Gorgoroth, which at that moment was divided into two groups. Daemon (Mayhem Album)
''Daemon'' is the sixth full-length studio album by Norwegian black metal band Mayhem. Their major label debut, it was released by Century Media Records on 25 October 2019 in digital formats while a manufacturing problem delayed the physical release until 8 November 2019. Background and promotion The band went into the studio not long after the ''De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas Alive'' anniversary tour in which the band played the iconic debut album in its entirety for various dates around the world. Many critics suggested the tour was highly influential to the sound of ''Daemon'' with many comparing it to that album. The album was also released on the back of the '' Lords of Chaos'' semi- biopic movie, giving the band a boost in popularity and interest. ''Esoteric Warfare'' is the fifth full-length studio album by Norwegian black metal band Mayhem. It was released by Season of Mist on 6 June 2014 in Europe and Asia, and on 10 June 2014 in North America. It is the band's first album with Teloch on guitar since Blasphemer's departure from the band in 2008. Background The album was initially announced in a 2012 interview with the bass guitarist Necrobutcher with Blabbermouth.net. On 2 August 2013, the drummer Hellhammer announced on Mayhem's official Facebook page that he was then recording his drum parts for the album. Gorgoroth
Gorgoroth is a Norwegian black metal band based in Bergen. It was formed in 1992 by guitarist Infernus, who is also the only original member remaining, and the band have since released nine studio albums. Gorgoroth are a Satanic band and have drawn controversy due to some of their concerts, which have featured impaled sheep heads and mock crucifixions. The band is named after the dead plateau of darkness in the land of Mordor from J. R. R. Tolkien's fantasy novel ''The Lord of the Rings''. Orcustus
Orcustus is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 2002. History Orcustus formed in Bergen, Norway, in early 2002 by Taipan, Dirge Rep, Infernus and Tormentor. Their moniker, meaning "the inner circle of Hell where Lucifer resides on his throne", was suggested by Dirge Rep and the band got approval to use it from the name's rightful owner, Bård "Faust" Eithun, who published the underground fanzine ''Orcustus'' in the early 1990s. Summer 2002 saw the band beginning to rehearse three tracks which eventually became the '' Demo 2002''. Nidingr (band)
Nidingr is a Norwegian black metal band from Borre. Initially started as a solo project of guitarist Morten "Teloch" Iversen under the name Audr in 1992, the band is "known for its efficiently complex songwriting, ravaging, dissonant, with catchy riffs and breakneck tempos." History In 1996, Audr changed its name to Nidingr and recorded a rehearsal tape after Blargh joined the band. Myrkur is a Danish black metal band led by singer Amalie Bruun. Myrkur is a solo project within the genre of second-wave black metal. Initially, the real-life identity of the person behind the project was kept unknown. Her identity has since been made public. Myrkur has released three full-length studio albums to significant critical acclaim, as well as a live album and one EP. God Seed
God Seed was a Norwegian black metal band based in Bergen, Norway. Former Gorgoroth members Gaahl and King ov Hell adopted the name in March 2009 following the ending of the Gorgoroth name dispute. 1349 is a Norwegian black metal band from Oslo, Norway, formed in 1997. The band's name is a reference to the year the Black Death reached Norway. History 1349 formed in 1997 and comprises several former members of the band Alvheim. Drummer Frost is also a member of Satyricon. In recognition of 1349's influences, the band performed a cover of Mayhem's "Buried by Time and Dust" on their debut album, ''Liberation''.
