Tell Me The Way
"Tell Me the Way" is a song by Italian musical group Cappella, released in July 1995 as the first single from their third studio album, ''War in Heaven'' (1996). It features new singer Alison Jordan, who replaced Kelly Overett after she left the group. The song was a hit in many European countries, peaking at number eight in Italy, number 15 in Finland, number 17 in the UK and number 20 in the Netherlands. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached number 33. Critical reception In his weekly UK chart commentary in ''Dotmusic'', James Masterton remarked that "Tell Me the Way", "no great departure from any of their previous hits", becomes their seventh Top 20 hit since 1989. Cappella (Eurodance Group)
Cappella is an Italian Eurodance music group formed in 1987 by producer Gianfranco Bortolotti. The act went through a number of line-up changes over the years but was most successful in the early 1990s when it was fronted by British performers Kelly Overett and Rodney Bishop. Their biggest hit was " U Got 2 Let the Music", which reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart in 1993. Background The name Cappella was first used in 1987. In the beginning, they were a Hi-NRG influenced house act with producer Gianfranco Bortolotti of Media Records leading the group, with significant contributions from fellow producers Stefano Lanzini, Diego Leoni and Pieradis Rossini. In 1988, the act debuted on the UK Singles Chart with the song "Bauhaus (Push the Beat)", and the following year with "Helyom Halib" which peaked at number 11. Record Mirror
''Record Mirror'' was a British weekly music newspaper between 1954 and 1991 for pop fans and record collectors. Launched two years after the ''NME'', it never attained the circulation of its rival. The first UK album chart was published in ''Record Mirror'' in 1956, and during the 1980s it was the only consumer music paper to carry the official UK singles and UK albums charts used by the BBC for Radio 1 and ''Top of the Pops'', as well as the US ''Billboard'' charts. ZYX Music GmbH & Co. KG is a German record label that was founded in 1971 by Bernhard Mikulski. It is one of the most successful German record labels of the 1980s and 1990s. Until 1992, the label's name was Pop-Import Bernhard Mikulski. The label specialized in disco, early house music and 1990s techno. Founder Bernhard Mikulski is credited with coining the term "Italo disco" in the 1980s. After the death of Bernhard, his wife Christa Mikulski took over in 1997.
