"Genie" () is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation for their second extended play (EP) of the same name (2009). It was released on June 22, 2009, as a single from the EP. Written by Yoo Young-jin, and produced by Dsign Music, Fridolin Nordso and Yoo Young-jin, the song is the group's first collaboration with Western composers and producers, which was later encouraged towards their future music. Musically, "Genie" carried on the group's phase of bubblegum pop music from their debut. The First Japan Arena Tour is the first Japanese concert tour by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation to promote their 2011 self-titled album in Japanese. History It was announced on March 7, 2011, that Girls' Generation would embark on their first nationwide Japan tour on May 18, 2011, at Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo, with a total of seven stops in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. Girls' Generation Asia Tour "Into the New World" is the first Asian concert tour of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It commenced with two shows in December 2009 in Seoul, followed by two encore shows in February 2010, before the Asian legs in Shanghai and Taipei.
