Telemadrid
Telemadrid is a public regional television station in the Community of Madrid, Spain, the flagship channel of the regional public broadcaster Radio Televisión Madrid (RTVM). It began its broadcast on 2 May 1989. History First years Telemadrid was created when Joaquín Leguina (PSOE) was the regional president. During its first years, Telemadrid occupied the buildings of the Agencia EFE, where it suffered an attack from the domestic terrorist group GRAPO on 29 May 1993. There were no casualties and the event was covered live on Telemadrid. On 11 March 1997, Telemadrid celebrated the opening of its current location, in the Ciudad de la Imagen, in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid. The building, which was called "special interest" on World Architecture Day in October 1997, holds all of the production centers for the radio-television entity. Radio Televisión Madrid S.A. (RTVM) is the public broadcaster of the Community of Madrid. History The Ente Público Radio Televisión Madrid was created by means of a 1984 law, during the government of Joaquín Leguina, with the endorsement of all parliamentary forces. Esperanza Aguirre
Esperanza Aguirre y Gil de Biedma (; born 3 January 1952) is a Spanish politician. As member of the People's Party (PP), she served as President of the Senate between 1999 and 2002 (becoming the first female politician to have held the post), as President of the Community of Madrid between 2003 and 2012 and as Minister of Education and Culture (1996–1999). She also chaired the People's Party of the Community of Madrid between 2004 and 2016. The president of the Community of Madrid is the highest-ranking officer of the Autonomous Community of Madrid and the head of the executive branch. The office is currently held by Isabel Díaz Ayuso of the People's Party. LaOtra ("TheOther") is the second television channel of the Radio Televisión Madrid public broadcasting network in the Community of Madrid, Spain. Launched in 2001, the channel broadcast a range of cultural programming including music and art. After a restructuring in 2006, it now also broadcasts children's programming, news and information from Madrid, history documentaries, sport, film and entertainment programming. José María Aznar
José María Alfredo Aznar López (; born 25 February 1953) is a Spanish politician who was the prime minister of Spain from 1996 to 2004. He led the People's Party (PP), the dominant centre-right political party in Spain.
