Telekids
''Telekids'' is a Dutch children's television programme showing on the RTL 4 channel from 1989 to 1999 and since 2010 on RTL 8. The show first aired on October 2, 1989, at 6:25pm, after the six o'clock news. Initially only Irene Moors presented the program and it was broadcast every day. To add even more strength, Carlo Boszhard joined in 1993, after which the program's popularity increased. From then on, ''Telekids'' was broadcast live every Saturday morning between 7am and 12 noon. Later all cartoons were pushed back to the start, causing the studio program to start at 9am. In the early days ''Telekids'' was co-hosted by Manon Thomas, Marc Postelmans and Caroline Tensen. These presenters filled in in the absence of Moors. Telekids was also presented in its early years by Marcel de Nijs and Bart Bosch. Carlo Boszhard
Carlo Boszhard (born 26 June 1969) is a Dutch TV personality, singer, impersonator, and host. His brother is Ron Boszhard. Early life Carlo was born as the youngest son of the Boszhard family, he is the brother of Ron Boszhard. He spent his childhood in Amsterdam and had a predilection for theater, show and entertainment in primary school. At the age of thirteen het started performing in theater ''De Engelenbak'' in Amsterdam. One of his teachers there was Dutch TV host Paul de Leeuw. After completing the Agricultural and Horticultural school, he became a caretaker. He nursed elderly people suffering from dementia. Yet, Boszhard still wanted to be a presenter. RTL 4
RTL 4 (Radio Télévision Luxembourg 4) is a Dutch free-to-air, free-to-cable television channel; it is the most-watched commercial station in the country, popular especially with those aged between 20 and 49. RTL 4 is a general entertainment channel with infotainment, television drama, talk shows, game shows, news and talent shows. It is owned by RTL Nederland, a subsidiary of RTL Group. The station has three sister TV channels: RTL 5, RTL 7 and RTL 8, and four thematic TV channels: RTL Z, RTL Lounge, RTL Crime (Dutch TV channel), RTL Crime and RTL Telekids. RTL 8
RTL 8 is a Dutch free-to-air, free-to-cable television channel that was launched on 18 August 2007 replacing Tien (TV channel), Tien, previously known as Talpa. RTL 8's main target audience consists of women. It broadcasts soap operas, talk shows, films and reruns of programmes from its sister RTL channels. In the mornings and late afternoons children's channel RTL Telekids is broadcasting on RTL 8. Officially RTL 8, along with all other Dutch RTL Nederland, RTL channels, is broadcasting under a Luxembourg television license. Therefore, the channel is also headquartered in Luxembourg. By doing this RTL can avoid more severe control by the Dutch media authorities, as Luxembourg does not have a strict authority that regulates its broadcasters. Irene Moors (born 18 June 1967, Alkmaar) is a Dutch comedian, TV personality, singer, and host. The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. Veronica (media)
Veronica is a brand name of successive Dutch commercial radio and television stations. It began its life as an offshore radio station, Radio Veronica, on 17 May 1960. The name comes from its first name VRON (Vrije Radio Omroep Nederland; ). "Free" was a reference to the laws at the time that didn't allow commercial radio broadcasters to operate from a location within the (land) territory of the Netherlands. Though Veronica's appeal and power have waned, most of the Dutch commercial radio and television landscape has been formed by Veronica and its spin-offs. The Firemen's Ball
''The Firemen's Ball'' (or ''The Fireman's Ball''; cs, Hoří, má panenko - "Fire, my lady") is a 1967 comedy film directed by Miloš Forman. It is set at the annual ball of a small town's volunteer fire department, and the plot portrays a series of disasters that occur during the evening.
