Tehn Diamond
Tendai Ryan Nguni (born 17 January 1985), better known by his stage name Tehn Diamond now Tehn is a Zimbabwean hip hop rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor from Harare, Zimbabwe. He is a member of the hip-hop collective Few Kings, with whom he has released one album. On the First of January 2017, Tehn released his debut album titled a few good poems and later that year they released the sequel to The Feeling Aint Fair titled The Feeling Aint Fear or just #TFAF2 with Jnr Brown & Take Fizzo. He stars in the movie Cook Off, Zimbabwe's first feature film to be released via Netflix. Harare
Harare (; formerly Salisbury ) is the capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe. The city proper has an area of 940 km2 (371 mi2) and a population of 2.12 million in the 2012 census and an estimated 3.12 million in its metropolitan area in 2019. Rapper
Rapping (also rhyming, spitting, emceeing or MCing) is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular". It is performed or chanted, usually over a backing beat or musical accompaniment. Zimbabwean Hip hop is the variety of hip hop that is popular in Zimbabwe. It emerged in the early 1990s. Prominent artists include Voltz JT, Junior Brown, Calvin, Saintfloew, Holy Ten, Mahcoy, Asaph, Kriss Newtone, Suhn, Denim Woods, Hanna, Tanto Wavie, Diamond, Synik, Maskiri, Ex Q, TreyXL, Munetsi, Bling4, Tha Bees, Bagga We Ragga and Raykaz. Cook Off (2017 Film)
''Cook Off'' is a 2017 Zimbabwean romantic comedy film written and directed by Tomas Brickhill. Set in contemporary middle class society of Harare, the film stars Tendaiishe Chitima, Fungai Majaya and Tehn Diamond. Production of the film was constantly hit with power failures, budget constraints, anti-government protests and riots which erupted during the final stages of the Presidency of Robert Mugabe. It became the first film to be released after the Zimbabwe Mugabe era which lasted for nearly 40 years. The film also became the first Zimbabwean film to be streamed on Netflix. St George's College, Harare
St George's College is a private Jesuit boys high school in Harare, Zimbabwe. The school, colloquially referred to as Saints or George's, is located in Borrowdale, a Harare suburb. The land was donated to the Jesuits. This led to the relocation of the school site from Bulawayo to Harare, the foundation of St George's College. On the same site, a preparatory primary school was established, called Hartmann House(HH). This site is next to the official Zimbabwe State House, and the official president's house called Zimbabwe House. The school motto is ''Ex Fide Fiducia'', a Latin phrase meaning "From Faith Comes Confidence". Cassper Nyovest
Refiloe Maele Phoolo (born 16 December 1990), professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, record producer and amateur boxer. Born and raised in Mahikeng, North West, he is regarded as one of the most successful artists in South Africa. In 2014, he established his own record label, Family Tree Records.
