Sangeeta (Telugu Actress)
Sangeeta is an Indian actress who has predominantly worked in Telugu films, alongside Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. Srirangam Srinivasa Rao (30 April 1910 – 15 June 1983), popularly known as Sri Sri, was an Indian poet and lyricist who is known for his works in Telugu literature and films. Noted for his anthology '' Maha Prasthanam'', Sri Sri is a recipient of a National Film Award, a Nandi Award and a Sahitya Akademi Award. He was a member of Pen India, Sahitya Academy, vice-president of the South Indian Film Writers Association, Madras and president of the Revolutionary Writers Association of Andhra. Savitri Ganesan (born Nissankara Savitri; 6 December 1935 – 26 December 1981) was an Indian actress, playback singer, dancer, director, and producer known for her works primarily in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She had also worked in Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam films. She starred in more than 250 films over three decades. Andhra Patrika was the weekly newspaper of the nationalist movement in the Telugu speaking region founded by Kasinadhuni Nageswara Rao in 1908. It later transformed into a daily newspaper before it closed down in 1991. It helped to shape both modern Telugu language and an identity that resulted in the creation of the state of Andhra Pradesh. ''Visalaandhra'' is an Indian Telugu-language daily newspaper established on 22 June 1952 in Vijayawada. The state Communist party of India decided to rename then daily Prajasakti to Visalaandhra (A combination of two words ''Visala'' meaning large or vast and ''Andhra'' meaning the region of Andhra Pradesh) with the slogan of having a single state for the Telugu speaking people. This newspaper was phenomenal in naming the newly formed state as Andhra Pradesh. It played a key role in opposing both the 1969 Separate Telangana movement and 1972 Jai Andhra movement.
