''Teen Titans'' is an American animated superhero television series developed by Glen Murakami, David Slack and Sam Register, based on DC Comics's superhero team of the same name. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment (for season 5), it premiered on Cartoon Network on July 19, 2003; and its first two seasons also aired on Kids' WB. Initially, only four seasons were planned; but the popularity of the series led to Cartoon Network's ordering a fifth season. The final half-hour episode of the show, "Things Change", aired on January 16, 2006; it was later followed by a TV movie, '' Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo'', that premiered on September 15, 2006, serving as the series finale. Kids' WB (stylized as Kids' WB!) was an American children's programming service and brand of The WB that aired on the network from September 9, 1995, to September 16, 2006. The block moved to The CW (a result of the merger of Time Warner's The WB and CBS Corporation's UPN), where it aired from September 23, 2006, to May 17, 2008.
