Teegala Krishna Reddy
Teegala Krishna Reddy (born 10 June 1949) is an Indian politician, a former Member of Legislative Assembly and a former Mayor of Hyderabad, from Telangana state. He is currently in the Bharat Rashtra Samithi. Early life Reddy was born in Ranga Reddy district, Meerpet. He completed his BA in 1971 from Osmania University. He is the Chairman of Teegala Krishna Reddy Engineering College. Career Reddy joined the Telugu Desam Party during its foundation. He contested the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) elections in 1986 from Gandhi Nagar division on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party and lost. Reddy contested the MCH elections in 2002 and served as the mayor of Hyderabad until 2007. He worked as the Chairman of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority. Ranga Reddy District
Ranga Reddy district ( R. R. district) is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. The district headquarters is located at Lakdikapool, Hyderabad. The district was named after the former deputy chief minister of the United Andhra Pradesh, K. V. Ranga Reddy. The district shares boundaries with Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Hyderabad, Medchal–Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy and Vikarabad districts. Bharat Rashtra Samithi
Bharat Rashtra Samithi ( ; BRS), formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi ( TRS), is an Indian political party which is predominantly active in the state of Telangana. It was founded on 27 April 2001 as by K. Chandrashekar Rao, with a single-point agenda of creating a separate Telangana state with Hyderabad as its capital. It has been instrumental in carrying forth a sustained agitation for the granting of statehood to Telangana. In the 2014 Telangana Assembly Election, the party won a majority of seats and formed the first government of the State with K. Chandrashekar Rao as its chief minister. The Telangana Legislative Assembly election was held in Telangana on 7 December 2018 to constitute the second Legislative Assembly since the formation of the state in 2014. The incumbent Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the Indian National Congress, BJP, Telangana Jana Samithi, and Telugu Desam Party were the main contestants in the election. The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
