James Tedesco (born 8 January 1993), nicknamed "Teddy", is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a and captains the Sydney Roosters in the NRL, New South Wales rugby league team and Australia. Salvatore Todisco (August 30, 1961 in Naples – November 25, 1990) was a light flyweight boxer from Italy, who won the silver medal in the light flyweight division (– 48 kg) at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. James Nicholas Tedisco (born July 15, 1950) is an American politician. Since 2023, he has been the New York State Senator for New York's 44th State Senate district. A Republican, Tedisco served in the New York State Assembly from 1983 to 2017. He was the Assembly Minority Leader from November 2005 until his resignation from that post in April 2009. Sergio Tedesco (23 April 1928 – 3 June 2012) was an Italian actor, voice actor and operatic tenor. Biography Tedesco was born in La Spezia. His father died when he was nine years old and he moved to Rome with his mother to help get a head start on his career. He eventually made his film debut in the 1941 film ''Il bazar delle idee'' directed by Marcello Albani. He acted in two other films that same year. As the years passed, Tedesco showed a natural talent in singing. He performed as a tenor at the Rome Opera House a few times and has acted and sung in several plays and made collaborations with Mario Zafred, Tito Gobbi, Renato Capecchi and Carlo Maria Giulini. Tranquillo Manoah Leide-Tedesco (August 19, 1894 – January 29, 1982) was an Italian-American composer, conductor and violinist. Biography Tranquillo Manoah Leide-Tedesco was born in Senigallia, Italy, but grew up in Naples. His father, Lazzaro Leide-Tedesco, originally from Reggio Emilia, became Rabbi of the Jewish Community of Greater Naples (1904-1941) and the Chief Rabbi of Naples. Manoah Leide-Tedesco grew up in an artistic family of composers, singers and musicians. His brother, Enrico Leide (1887-1970) was a concert cellist and orchestra conductor, conducting the first Atlanta Symphony Orchestra from 1920 to 1930.
