Tedashii Lavoy Anderson (born March 8, 1977), known simply as Tedashii, is an American Christian hip hop artist and member of the hip-hop troupe, 116 Clique. He also hosted the NGEN Radio show "Serium". Tedashii has released five solo albums, ''Kingdom People'', ''Identity Crisis'', ''Blacklight'', ''Below Paradise'', and ''Never Fold'' on Reach Records. Tedashii's delivery style is characterized by a deep voice that he can manipulate for rapping a wide range of flow schemes and patterns. In 2008, Tedashii toured with the 116 Clique during the "Unashamed Tour". The "Don't Waste Your Life Tour" followed in 2009, after which he took a brief break. In late 2010 he returned for the "Unashamed: The Movement Tour". As soon as his album ''Blacklight'' was released in 2011 he went on a brief tour to promote it. Below Paradise
''Below Paradise'' is the fourth studio album from Christian hip hop recording artist Tedashii, released on May 27, 2014 by Reach Records. Based on his struggle to deal with the death of his son, the album tackles issues of pain, suffering, and the love of God in the midst of hardship. It met with a positive reception from music critics. The album sold 13,800 copies in its debut week causing it to chart at No. 17 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Background This album was the follow-up to Tedashii's third studio album, ''Blacklight'', released in 2011 by Reach Records. ''Below Paradise'' was released by the same label on May 27, 2014. Reach Records is an American independent record label specializing in Christian hip hop. The label was founded in 2004 by Ben Washer and the hip-hop artist Lecrae. In addition to Lecrae, the Reach Records roster contains artists like Tedashii, Trip Lee, Andy Mineo, 1K Phew, WHATUPRG, Wande, Hulvey, and Limoblaze. The hip-hop collective 116 operates under the label and consists primarily of the label's solo acts. ''Blacklight'' is the third studio album by Christian rap artist, Tedashii on Reach Records. It was released on iTunes on May 24, 2011, and in stores on May 31, 2011. The album produced singles "Need It Daily" (which later became a music video) and "Riot". The song "Last Goodbye" was made into a music video which was released on May 30, the day after Memorial Day. ''Identity Crisis'' is the second studio album by Christian rap artist, Tedashii. It was released on May 26, 2009 after being pushed back from its originally scheduled May 19, 2009 release date. Conception Background Tedashii based the title of the album on 1 Corinthians 15:10. ''"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect."'' Release and promotion The album, initially intended for a May 19, 2008 release date, was pushed back to May 26, 2009 by Reach Records. Kevin Elijah Burgess (born July 21, 1988), better known by his stage name KB, is an American Christian hip hop artist and music executive from St. Petersburg, Florida. He is the leader of the hip-hop group HGA. He signed a solo artist contract to Reach Records in 2010. ''Reborn'' is the eighth studio album by the Christian rapper Manafest. It was independently released on October 2, 2015. The album was distributed by The Fuel Music. The release was fan-funded through a PledgeMusic campaign and is Manafest's first fully independent album in over a decade.
