Tecumseh High School is a high school located in Tecumseh, Oklahoma roughly 42 miles East of Oklahoma City . The school nickname is the Savages, and the School's mascot is the Savage. Tecumseh High School serves approximately 659 students in grades 9–12. They have a 41% minority enrollment and a graduation rate of 90-94%. Athletics Tecumseh High School students participate in Baseball, Cross Country, Fast Pitch and Slow Pitch Softball, Track and Field, Basketball, American Football, Powerlifting, Volleyball, Golf, Wrestling, Cheerleading, Bowling, Marching Band, and Colorguard. Tecumseh ( sac, Takamithîheki) is a city in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 6,457 at the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census, a 5.9 percent increase from the figure of 6,098 in 2000. It was named for the noted Shawnee chief, Tecumseh, and was designated as the county seat at Oklahoma's statehood. Mary Fallin (; née Copeland; born December 9, 1954) is an American politician who served as the 27th governor of Oklahoma from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, she was elected in 2010 and reelected in 2014. She was the first and so far only woman to be elected governor of Oklahoma. Stanley Patrick Cobbs (born January 31, 1983) is a former American football running back. He most recently was a member of the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. He was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at North Texas. Cobbs has also been a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins.
