Theatre or theater is a collaborative form of performing art that uses live performers, usually actors or actresses, to present the experience of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage. Teatro, Italian for "theatre", is a vocal group signed to the Sony BMG music label. The members of Teatro are Jeremiah James, Andrew Alexander, Simon Bailey and Stephen Rahman-Hughes. Band members Jeremiah James Jeremiah James was born in upstate New York and raised in Los Angeles. He was one of the youngest performers ever to be nominated for a Los Angeles Theater Ovation Award for Best Lead Actor in a Musical for his role in Crazy For You. He appeared in Sir Cameron Mackintosh revival of Oklahoma! as Curly. He appeared in the pre-West End tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel as Billy Bigelow, and he is currently performing the same role at the Savoy Theatre in London's West End. Andrew Alexander Andrew Alexander is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. ''Teatro'' is the 45th studio album by Willie Nelson, released in September 1998 via Island Records. Filmmaker Wim Wenders produced a documentary feature-length film of the recording sessions and live performances. Background The recording sessions for the album were held in an old movie theater in Oxnard, California and were produced by Daniel Lanois. The album features backing vocals by Emmylou Harris, as well as backing by regular Nelson harmonicist Mickey Raphael and Nelson's sister, Bobbie Nelson, on piano.
