Tear The World Down
''Tear the World Down'' is the first and only album released by the hard rock band We Are the Fallen. It was released in the United Kingdom on May 10, 2010 and the United States on May 11, 2010 under the Universal Republic record label. It includes their first single " Bury Me Alive". The album debuted on the ''Billboard'' 200 at No. 33, selling 13,000 for the week. It has sold 41,000 copies as of September 2010. Critical reception Andy Greenwald ''Entertainment Weekly'' gave the album a B–, writing: "Smithson’s voice shines over Moody’s familiar stew of metal riffs and gothy strings. Too bad the subject matter seems cribbed from a teen's Tumblr." We Are The Fallen
We Are the Fallen is an American hard rock band consisting of Irish singer and former ''American Idol'' contestant Carly Smithson, guitarist Ben Moody, guitarist John LeCompt, drummer Rocky Gray, and bassist Marty O'Brien. Moody, LeCompt, and Gray are former members of American rock band Evanescence. The band's name alludes to Evanescence's 2003 album ''Fallen''. Their debut album '' Tear the World Down'' was released in May 2010. David Hodges
David Hall Hodges (born December 5, 1978) is an American songwriter and record producer from Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a studio contributor to the rock band Evanescence from 2000–2002. Rocky Gray
William Rocky Gray (born July 2, 1974) is a drummer and guitarist who has been part of the Arkansas metal scene since the early 1990s. He is best known as a former drummer of the rock band Evanescence from 2003-2007. He is the lead guitarist for Living Sacrifice and Solus Deus, and plays drums for Soul Embraced, Mourningside, Machina, and We Are the Fallen. Gray also released a solo album titled ''Accursed'' (2015). History In 1991, Gray joined the grindcore band Shredded Corpse with David S. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Mandolin
A mandolin ( it, mandolino ; literally "small mandola") is a stringed musical instrument in the lute family and is generally plucked with a pick. John LeCompt
John Charles LeCompt (born March 10, 1973) is an American guitarist who has been part of the Little Rock metal music since the mid-1990s. He played rhythm guitar for the rock band Evanescence from 2003 to 2007. One of LeCompt's main collaborators is long-time friend musician Rocky Gray. They both are members of the rock bands Machina and We Are the Fallen. Career His first commercial endeavor was the Christian metal band Mindrage, in which he performed as both lead vocalist and lead guitarist. Enlisted for the project was Nick Williams on bass and Chad Wilburn on drums. Piano
