Team Xtra Personell
Team Centric (formerly Team Xtra Personell) was the first professional private cross country team in Norway. It was created in 2007. In the 2012–2013 season the team consists of the skiers Anders Aukland, Jørgen Aukland, Jerry Ahrlin, Simen Østensen and Stanislav Řezáč. The team participate mainly in the international long distance cross country cup Ski Classics. Team Xtra Personell won Ski Classics team overall competition both in 2011 and 2012. Anders Aukland won the men's overall cup in 2012. Ski Classics
Ski Classics is a series of long-distance cross-country ski races in classic style that has been held since 2011. In season XII, 2021-2022, the circuit included 14 events, in a professional tour for the 35 Pro Teams involved. From 2015 to 2022, the official name of the circuit was Visma Ski Classics, thanks to their main sponsor. The special thing about the Ski Classics concept is that anyone can start the races: professional or amateur, male or female, 25 or 75 years old. Everyone stands together on the same starting line to face the same weather conditions and the same course. Ski Classics has also, since April 2019, launched the concept of Challengers. This tour has been created to connect and promote long distance skiing events worldwide. Anders Aukland
Anders Aukland (born 12 September 1972 in Tønsberg) is a professional Norwegian cross-country skier who has won both Olympic and World Championship gold medals. He lives in Oslo. Aukland also used to compete in athletics, and is a former national champion in 5000 meters (1995) and 10,000 metres (1996 and 1997) as well as cross-country running. He has represented Tønsberg FIK and IK Tjalve. In his only international athletics competition he finished seventh in 5000 m at the 1991 European Junior Championships. Aukland received the Egebergs Ærespris in 2001. On 7 March 2004, Aukland won the Vasaloppet in Sweden, becoming the second Norwegian to accomplish this feat after 1971 winner Ole Ellefsæter. Jørgen Aukland
Jørgen Aukland (born 6 August 1975) is a Norwegian long-distance cross-country skier. He is the brother of Anders Aukland and Fredrik Aukland. Aukland went to college at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. In 2008, he won Vasaloppet. On 9 April 2016, it was announced that he was going to retire following Nordenskiöldsloppet in Sweden the next day. Simen Østensen
Simen Østensen (born 4 August 1984) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. He skis with the club Fossum IF. He finished third in the 2006-07 Tour de Ski. Before that, Østensen had started in a World Cup race only once (the 50 km in Holmenkollen in 2005, where he did not finish) before. Stanislav Řezáč
Stanislav Řezáč (born 29 April 1973) is a Czech long-distance cross-country skier competing in the Worldloppet Ski Federation series of races. Řezáč won the prestigious Birkebeinerrennet race in Norway for four times - in 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2011. He also finished second-placed in the Vasaloppet race in Sweden in 2011. In 2009 he finished third in the same race. Media In 2011 the video of Řezáč giving an interview after Birkebeinerrennet became viral in the Czech Republic. Řezáč was struggling to speak English, mixing it with German and Czech. During the interview, Řezáč mentions several times the word "šůšn". Journalists thought initially it is a misspelling of some English word. It was revealed later it refers to the Norwegian village of Sjusjøen.
