Team X is a fictional black ops team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Comics In the Marvel Universe, Team X was a CIA black ops team that operated during the 1960s and was linked to Weapon Plus. It was made up of Logan (James Howlett) (the future Wolverine), Victor Creed (the future Sabretooth), Mastodon, David North/Christoph Nord (Maverick), the Major Arthur Barrington, Silver Fox, Noel Higgins (Wildcat), Aldo Ferro (Vole) and John Wraith (Kestrel). Joseph Quesada (; born January 12, 1962'' Comics Buyer's Guide'' #1650; February 2009; page 107) is an American comic book artist, writer, editor, and television producer. He became known in the 1990s for his work on various Valiant Comics books, such as ''Ninjak'' and ''Solar, Man of the Atom''. He later worked on numerous books for DC Comics and Marvel Comics, such as '' Batman: Sword of Azrael'' and ''X-Factor'', before forming his own company, Event Comics, where he published his creator-owned character, Ash. In 1998 he became an editor of Marvel Comics' Marvel Knights line, before becoming editor-in-chief of the company in 2000. He was named Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment in 2010 and left his editor-in-chief role in January 2011, being replaced by Axel Alonso. ''Wolverine'' is an action video game developed by Software Creations and published by LJN for the NES, and was released in North America in 1991. It is a licensed game based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name, as well as the X-Men. Story Wolverine has been captured by his old foes Magneto and Sabretooth. Stranded on a deserted island, Wolverine must survive deadly enemies and traps, concluding with a battle with Magneto and Sabretooth. Gameplay The player controls Wolverine, who has been imprisoned on a vast island, through various stages, into a final battle against evil mutants Magneto and Sabretooth. The Blob (Frederick J. "Fred" Dukes) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is usually depicted as an adversary of the X-Men.
