Team Ulysse
Team Ulysse is a Canadian Junior ice hockey from La Plaine, Quebec. They are former members of the Northern Junior Hockey League and the United Junior Hockey League, a pair of Independent Junior A leagues from the United States The team is affiliated with École secondaire de l'Odyssée. History Team Ulysse joined the junior ranks in 2008 as members of the United Junior Hockey League. As members of the league Northern/Quebec Division, the team fared well. Late in the season, the Quebec teams broke away from the troubled league, finished their season independently and then played their own playoffs. Team Ulysse lost in the finals to the Harrington College Icebergs. Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan is a Quebec municipality located in the Montcalm Regional County Municipality located in the Lanaudière region. It is on the banks of the Achigan River, a tributary of the L'Assomption River. Denis Chalifoux is a retired professional ice hockey player, most notably with the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League and the Laval Chiefs of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (LNAH). Junior hockey is a level of competitive ice hockey generally for players between 16 and 21 years of age. La Plaine, Quebec
La Plaine is an off-island suburb of Montreal, and a formerly incorporated town in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It lies north of Montreal and Laval. It is now part of the city of Terrebonne in the Les Moulins Regional County Municipality. It is part of the administrative division of Lanaudière. History The city of La Plaine was founded in 1830 on fragments of other cities, namely Mascouche, Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Saint-Lin–Laurentides and Terrebonne.
