Taylor Hill (baseball)
David Taylor Hill (born March 12, 1989) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Washington Nationals. In 2020, Hill joined the Toronto Blue Jays organization as a coach. Playing career Amateur A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Hill attended Mount Juliet High School and played college baseball at Vanderbilt University. In 2009, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 30th round of the 2010 MLB Draft, but did not sign and returned to Vanderbilt for his senior season. He was then drafted by the Washington Nationals in the sixth round of the 2011 MLB Draft. Washington Nationals Hill was called up to the majors for the first time on June 25, 2014. In baseball and softball, a relief pitcher or reliever is a pitcher who enters the game after the starting pitcher is removed because of fatigue (medical), fatigue, ineffectiveness, injury, or ejection (sports), ejection, or for other strategic reasons, such as inclement weather delays or pinch hitter substitutions. Dunedin Blue Jays
The Dunedin Blue Jays are a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League and are the Single-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball club. They are located in Dunedin, Florida, and play their home games at TD Ballpark, which opened in 1990 and seats 8,500 people. The league has 18 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season.
