Taylor Embree
Jon Taylor Embree (born October 3, 1988) is an American football coach and former wide receiver who was recently the running backs coach for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at UCLA and was briefly a member of the San Diego Chargers. Playing career Taylor played wide receiver for 4 years at UCLA. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chargers in 2012 but was cut at the end of the preseason. Coaching career Embree began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at UNLV in 2012, where he was credited for helping convince Jerry Rice Jr. to transfer from UCLA to UNLV for his final season of eligibility. He was also a graduate assistant at his alma mater UCLA for two seasons before joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016 as a defensive assistant. Jerry Lee Rice Jr. (born July 27, 1991) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver. He played college football for the UCLA Bruins and the UNLV Rebels. The Washington Redskins signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2014. Rice is the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice. Early life and education Rice was born in Atherton, California and graduated from Menlo School. He played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with a bachelor's degree in June 2013. He decided to forgo his final year of eligibility with the Bruins to earn his master's degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he also played football with the Rebels. The Denver Broncos are a professional American football franchise based in Denver. John William Embree (born July 13, 1944) is a former American football wide receiver. Embree was born in St. Louis in 1944. He played college football at Compton Community College in California. He played professional in the National Football League (NFL) for the Denver Broncos. Jon Embree
Jon William Embree (born October 15, 1965) is an American football coach and former player who is the Assistant Head coach & tight ends coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He is a former head coach at Colorado. Prior to that, he was the tight ends coach for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League. As a player, he spent two seasons in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams as a tight end until an injury ended his career. He was selected in the sixth round of the 1987 NFL Draft (166th overall) by the Rams, after playing college football at Colorado. Embree previously coached for three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, three with UCLA, one with the Cleveland Browns and ten at Colorado. Robert Saleh (born January 31, 1979) is an American football coach who is the head coach for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). A defensive coach for much of his 20-year coaching career, Saleh has served as an assistant coach for the Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, and San Francisco 49ers from 2005 to 2020, holding his first defensive coordinator position with the Niners from 2017 to 2020. Saleh has appeared in two Super Bowls, one each with the Seahawks and 49ers, winning one in 2014 with the Seahawks. Following the 2020 season, he left the 49ers to become the Jets' head coach. Karl Dorrell
Karl James Dorrell (born December 18, 1963) is an American football coach who was most recently the head coach at the University of Colorado. Dorrell most notably served as the head football coach of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2003 to 2007, compiling a record of 35–27. He led the UCLA Bruins to five bowl appearance in five seasons, but did not coach in the fifth after he was fired in December 2007. Dorrell was the first and only African American head football coach in UCLA's history to date. In 2020, Dorrell was hired as the new head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. In his first season at CU, he was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
