Howard Tayler
Howard V. Tayler (born February 29, 1968 in Florida) is the creator of the webcomic ''Schlock Mercenary''. He worked as a volunteer missionary for the LDS Church, then graduated from Brigham Young University. Using his degree in music composition, he started an independent record label. While working at Novell, Tayler began online publication of ''Schlock Mercenary''. He quit his job at Novell several years later in order to work on the webcomic full-time. ''Schlock Mercenary'' has been nominated multiple times and won the Web Cartoonists' Choice Awards in two different categories, and the webcomic has been nominated four times for a Hugo Award. Tayler spends time regularly during the week drawing at a local comic book and gaming store, as well as producing a weekly writing tips podcast called ''Writing Excuses'' with fellow authors Brandon Sanderson, Dan Wells, Mary Robinette Kowal, and producer Jordan Sanderson. Collette Tayler (9 February 1951 – 1 December 2017) was an Australian academic and researcher whose worked influenced early childhood education policy. She held the Chair of Early Childhood Education and Care, Melbourne Graduate School of Education, at the University of Melbourne for ten years. Early life and education Tayler was raised on a farm near Beaudesert, Queensland, and was educated at boarding school in Brisbane. Tayler Malsam (born February 15, 1989) is an American professional stock car racing driver. Early career After spending time in USAC sprint cars, Malsam made his debut in the ARCA Remax Series in 2007 at Toledo Speedway. Driving for Mark Gibson, he started 8th and finished 33rd after a crash. In 2008, Malsam ran the full ARCA season in the #4 Dodge for Cunningham Motorsports, earning three top 5s and five top 10s. John Tayler
John Tayler (July 4, 1742 – March 19, 1829) was a merchant and politician. He served nine years as Lieutenant Governor of New York, four months acting as the sixth Governor of New York, and also in both houses of the New York State Legislature. Life He was a trader, farmer, and shopkeeper in Albany, New York. He married Margarita Van Valkenburgh in 1764. Tayler was a Patriot during the Revolutionary War. He was drawn into public service for the Colonies. He was a member from Albany County in the New York State Assembly from 1777 to 1779, in 1780–81, and from 1785 to 1787. Tayler Hill (born October 23, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. Hill previously played for the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Hill was a McDonald's All-American coming out of high school and left high school as the all-time leading scorer in Minnesota basketball history with 3,888 points. Charles Foot Tayler
Charles Foot Tayler (1794–1853), sometimes spelled "Taylor", was a noted painter of portrait miniatures, active on the Isle of Wight and in Bath, England, in the first half of the 19th century. Taylor was born at Newport on the Isle of Wight. He had at least two brothers, Daniel (1787–1840) and Edward (1804–1869), known from his paintings of them. He was said to have been exceedingly accurate in his depiction of his sitters. He exhibited 'A portrait of Mr E. Tayler' at the Royal Academy in 1820, and exhibited other works there until the year of his death. Robert Walker Tayler (November 26, 1852November 25, 1910) was an American lawyer, jurist, and politician who served four terms as a United States representative from Ohio from 1895 to 1903. Albert Chevallier Tayler (1862–1925) was an English artist who specialised in portrait and genre painting, but was also involved in the plein air methods of the Newlyn School. He studied at Heatherley's School of Art, Royal Academy Schools and with avant-garde painters in Paris. He was educated at Bloxham School in Oxfordshire.
