Tayla Bresland (born 4 February 1996) is a retired Australian rules footballer who played for Fremantle Football Club#AFL Women's team, Fremantle and West Coast Eagles#AFL Women's team, West Coast in the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition. AFLW career Fremantle Bresland was drafted by Fremantle Football Club#AFL Women's team, Fremantle with their seventh selection and fifty-second overall in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut in the thirty-two point loss to the Western Bulldogs#AFL Women's team, Western Bulldogs at Whitten Oval, VU Whitten Oval in the opening round of the 2017 AFL Women's season, 2017 season. She played every match in her debut season to finish with seven matches. The West Australian Women's Football League (WAWFL) was the governing body of women's Australian rules football in the state of Western Australia from 1987 until its dissolution in 2021. It organised the premier women's football league in Western Australia from 1987 to 2018, which was superseded in 2019 by the WAFLW league, a joint initiative of the WAWFL and the West Australian Football Commission. Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition.
