Pet of the Year names are in bold type and are typically featured in the January issue of the year for which they are selected. Unlike ''Playboy'', it may be several years before a model becomes "Pet of the Year" after their initial centerfold. No model was selected in 1985. Contrary to what has been written over the years by various media, the first Pet of the Year was not Evelyn Treacher. ''Rock of Love with Bret Michaels'' is an American reality television dating game show. It stars Bret Michaels, the lead singer from the band Poison. The show closely resembles the show ''Flavor of Love''. The first season featured 25 women competing to be Michaels' girlfriend. ''Opie and Anthony'' was an American radio show hosted by Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia that aired from March 1995 to July 2014, with comedian Jim Norton serving as third mic from 2001.
