Taweesin Visanuyothin
Taweesin Visanuyothin (Thai: ทวีศิลป์ วิษณุโยธิน, RTGS: Thawisin Wisanuyothin) is a Thai psychiatrist. He is widely noted for performing the duties of spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Health and the Center for the COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) which gives brief daily summaries of the COVID-19 situation in Thailand. Early life, family and education Taweesin was born in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. He is the second of five children of Wengkuang and Phennapha Sae-to. His family has a small shop located in front of the Second Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality Marketplace. His father had lost his leg because of an accident when Taweesin was young.
