''TattleTales'' is the second studio album by American rapper 6ix9ine. It was released on September 4, 2020. ''TattleTales'' is the follow-up to ''Dummy Boy'', which was released shortly after 6ix9ine was arrested in November 2018. It features guest appearances from Akon, Nicki Minaj, Smilez, Leftside and DJ Akademiks. Background It is the first album by 6ix9ine since his release from prison following his cooperation with federal agents on a case involving his former fellow gang members of the Nine Trey Bloods. Upon his homecoming from prison, he released his first single of the album, "Gooba", on his birthday on May 8, 2020. Daniel Hernandez (born May 8, 1996), known professionally as 6ix9ine (stylized 6IX9INE and pronounced "six nine") and also as Tekashi69, is an American rapper. Sleiman Nejim (born in Lebanon in 1982) is a Danish rapper of Palestinian origin. He is known by the mononym ''Sleiman''. He was born in Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp near Sidon, Lebanon. The album-equivalent unit, or album equivalent, is a measurement unit in music industry to define the consumption of music that equals the purchase of one album copy. This consumption includes streaming and song downloads in addition to traditional album sales. The album-equivalent unit was introduced in the mid- 2010s as an answer to the drop of album sales in the 21st century. Album sales more than halved from 1999 to 2009, declining from a $14.6 to $6.3 billion industry. For instance, the only albums that went platinum in the United States in 2014 were the '' Frozen'' soundtrack and Taylor Swift's ''1989'', whereas several artists' works had in 2013.
