Tatiana Grindenko
Tatiana Grindenko (russian: Татьяна Тихоновна Гринденко; born 1946) is a Russian violinist and Meritorious Artist who graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and then became an assistant to Yuri Yankelevich. She is a founder of Grindenko Ensemble and currently works as a soloist there. She has appeared on stage along such conductors as Frans Brüggen, Kurt Masur, Kurt Sanderling, M. Rostropovich, Gidon Kremer, G. Rozhdestvensky, K. Kondrashin and Yuri Temirkanov as well as various pianists and violinists such as A. Lubimov and A. Kniazev. Her CDs were published under such labels as Melodiya, Ondine, Deutsche Grammophon, Long Arms Records, and many others. Anatoly Alexandrovitch Vasiliev (russian: Анато́лий Алекса́ндрович Васи́льев, link=no; born May 4, 1942, Penza Oblast) is a Russian theatre director. He is artistic director of the Moscow Theatre "School of Dramatic Arts", Théâtre de l'Europe, and professor of drama in Lyon, France. Early years Vasiliev was born in the Soviet Union and graduated from the faculty of chemistry at Rostov State University. In 1973, he received a degree in directing from the State Institute of Dramatic Art (GITIS), where he first worked with painter and scenographer Igor Popov. ''Mozart and Salieri'' ( rus, Моцарт и Сальери, Motsart i Salyeri ) is a one-act opera in two scenes by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, written in 1897 to a Russian libretto taken almost verbatim from Alexander Pushkin's 1830 verse drama of the same name. The story follows the apocryphal legend that Antonio Salieri poisoned Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart out of jealousy over the latter's music. Rimsky-Korsakov incorporated quotations from Mozart's ''Requiem'' and ''Don Giovanni'' into the score. Richard Taruskin has placed this opera in the historical context of the development of the realistic tradition in Russian opera. Melodiya ( rus, links=no, Мелодия, t=Melody) is a Russian (formerly Soviet) record label. It was the state-owned major record company of the Soviet Union. History Melodiya was established in 1964 as the "All-Union Gramophone Record Firm of the USSR Ministry of Culture Melodiya". Alexander Kniazev
Alexandre Alexandrovitch Kniazev (russian: Александр Александрович Князев) (born 26 April 1961 in Moscow) is a Russian cellist and organist. He was named best musician of the year in Russia in 1999. Kniazev studied music at Moscow Conservatory. He entered the cello class of Alexander Fedorchenko and in the organ class of G. Kozlova. After a solid musical formation, he won first prizes in cello at the Vilnius competition, at that of G. Cassado, the International Chamber Music Competition in Trapini, and Pretoria.
