Tathra Rugby League Football Club is an Australian rugby league football club in Tathra, New South Wales Tathra () is a seaside town on the Sapphire Coast found on the South Coast, New South Wales, Australia. As at the , Tathra had a population of 1,675. Nearby points of interest are the Old Tathra Wharf, Mimosa Rocks National Park and Bournda Nat ..., formed in 1926. It has teams for both juniors and seniors competitions. Two early records name players in the Pambula team to play Tathra in June and August 1927. In 1929, Tathra played a match against Candelo. In the 2018 season, the club fielded Reserve Grade and Ladies League Tag teams. The club was most recently in First Grade from 2009 to 2014. In 2019, the club won the Group 16 Premiership for the first time in 66 years. Tathra () is a seaside town on the Sapphire Coast found on the South Coast, New South Wales, Australia. As at the , Tathra had a population of 1,675. Nearby points of interest are the Old Tathra Wharf, Mimosa Rocks National Park and Bournda National Park. Mimosa Rocks National Park starts at the northern end of Tathra Beach and runs north for about 16 km. It has five access roads from the Tathra-Bermagui main road. Bournda National Park starts at Kianinny Bay, at the southern end of Tathra, and runs south for about . There is a walking track near the coast, along most of its length. ''The Southern Record and Advertiser'' was a weekly newspaper published in Candelo, New South Wales, Australia from 1910 until 1938. It was published after the amalgamation of ''Candelo Guardian'' and the ''Candelo and Eden Union'' newspapers. History The ''Candelo and Eden Union'' was first published on 18 May 1882 by Lawrence John O'Toole. A.H. Schuback became the sole proprietor of the ''Union'' in 1899, however in 1904 he left it to start publishing the ''Candelo Guardian'' in competition. In 1910 the two newspapers merged and were published as ''The Southern Record and Advertiser''. ''The Southern Record'' was published until 1938 when it was merged with the '' Bega District News''. South Coast (New South Wales)
The South Coast refers to the narrow coastal belt from Shoalhaven district in the north to the border with Victoria in the south in the south-eastern part of the State of New South Wales, Australia. It is bordered to the west by the coastal escarpment of the Southern Tablelands, and is largely covered by a series of national parks, namely Jervis Bay National Park, Eurobodalla National Park, and Beowa National Park. To the east is the coastline of the Pacific Ocean, which is characterised by rolling farmlands, small towns and villages along a rocky coastline, interspersed by numerous beaches and lakes. The South Coast includes Shoalhaven district in the north and the Bega Valley in the more remote south as well as the Eurobodalla Shire and the Commonwealth Jervis Bay Territory which is adjacent to the City of Shoalhaven Local Government Area.
