Tathagata Mukherjee
Tathagata Mukherjee (born 15 May 1985) is a Kolkata-based Indian actor and independent filmmaker. He is best known for his acting in several Bengali soap operas. Early life Tathagata Mukherjee was born on May 15th, 1985, in Kolkata, India. During his childhood, he did a three years long ''yatra'' with a Bengali drag artist Chapal Bhaduri. He went to high school at the Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School. Later, he studied drama at Rabindra Bharati University. He has done professional theatre since 2005. Career His career as a film actor began when he was cast in the 2007 movie ''Laal Ronger Duniya''. In 2008, he started his television career as a hero in a daily soap called ''Sada Patay Kalo Daag''. ''Bou Kotha Kao'' ( bn, বউ কথা কও); is a television serial which was aired on Bengali GEC Star Jalsha. It was produced by '' Ravi Ojha Productions'' and was directed by Tathagata Mukherjee. It starred Riju Biswas and Manali Dey in the lead roles, and Ridhima Ghosh (later replaced by Parno Mittra) as the 2nd Female Lead and also in a negative role. ''Badshahi Angti'' () is a 2014 Indian Bengali-language thriller film directed by Sandip Ray, based on the novel of the same name by Satyajit Ray, starring Abir Chatterjee and Sourav Das as Feluda and Topse respectively. The film was released on 19 December 2014. It is the first film which stars Abir Chatterjee as Feluda. This was going to be a reboot to previous Feluda film series after '' Royal Bengal Rahashya.''
