Tatamma Kala
''Tatamma Kala'' ( Great-Grandmother's Dream) is a 1974 Telugu-language drama film, produced by Bhanumathi Ramakrishna directed by N. T. Rama Rao under his Ramakrishna Cine Studios banner. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, Bhanumathi Ramakrishna, debutant Nandamuri Balakrishna and has music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao. Plot The film begins in a village where Ravamma an indomitable woman whose husband Musalaiah becomes a wanderer. So, Ravamma safeguards their property and rears her grandson Ramaiah who lost his parents in his childhood. Time passes, Ramaiah marries Seeta and the couple is blessed with five children. But unfortunately, Ravamma loses her property due to land ceiling act. So, Ramayya decides to leave the city which Ravamma opposes, and stays back. Bhanumathi Ramakrishna
P. Bhanumathi Ramakrishna (7 September 1925 – 24 December 2005) was an Indian actress, singer, film producer, director, music composer, and novelist. She is regarded as the first female super star of Telugu cinema. She is also considered the first female director of Telugu cinema with her debut directorial '' Chandirani'' (1953). Bhanumathi appeared in over 100 films predominantly in Telugu and Tamil languages. She was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2001 for her contribution to the Indian cinema. She was honored among "women in cinema" at the 30th International Film Festival of India. Madhavapeddi Satyam (11 March 1922 – 18 December 2000) was an Indian playback singer and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He entered films as a singer-actor in Y. V. Rao's Tamil-Hindi bilingual movie ''Ramadas'' in the year 1946, playing the role of Kabir. However, he became more popular as a playback singer due to his booming voice. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films.
