Tatafu Moeaki
Tatafu Toma Moeaki (born 1972) is a Tongan politician, former Cabinet Minister, and civil servant. Moeaki joined the Tongan public service in 1995, working as head of Policy and Planning at the Ministry of Education and as Deputy Secretary for Foreign Affairs. In 2011 he worked as chief executive of the Ministry of Labour, Commerce and Industries. In 2013 he was appointed chief executive of the Ministry of Finance and National Planning. He resigned as chief executive in 2016 to take up a position for the Asian Development Bank. On 25 January 2021 he was appointed to Prime Minister Pohiva Tuʻiʻonetoa's Cabinet as Minister for Trade and Economic Development in the cabinet reshuffle following the resignation of Sione Vuna Fa'otusia. Sione 'Utukiveisini Tatafu Polota-Nau (born 26 July 1985) is an Australian rugby union player who recently played for Parramatta Two Blues in Australia's Shute Shield. He joined the club in December 2017. Family and early life Polota-Nau was born in Camperdown, Sydney. He is the 2nd of three children (Moala, older sister; and Michael, younger brother) to Parents Audrey and Siosaia. He attended both Croydon Park Public School and Blaxcell Street Primary School. He attended Granville South Creative and Performing Arts School (was Granville South High). He is of Tongan heritage. Fepikou Tatafu (born 12 March 1975) is a Tongan former rugby union player. He played as wing and centre. Career Tatafu was first capped for Tonga during a test match against Fiji, on 27 July 1996, in Nuku'alofa. He also was part of the Tongan roster for the 1999 Rugby World Cup, playing two matches in the tournament. Tatafu last played for Tonga during a test against Papua New Guinea, on 7 December 2002, in Nuku'alofa. At club level, he played the National Provincial Championship for North Otago and later, he moved in France to play for Saint Nazaire Rugby Loire-Atlantique in Fédérale 1. Karoline Lusitania "Lusi" Tatafu (born 20 February 1998) is a Tongan recurve archer who competed at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics. Tatafu made her international debut at the 2012 New Zealand National Championships, and was awarded a universality place to compete at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. Mason Tatafu (born 17 April 2002), is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Hofstra Pride. Career Tatafu made his senior debut in July 2020 playing for Perth Glory NPL in National Premier Leagues Western Australia.
