Tata Sierra
The Tata Sierra, was a three-door sport utility vehicle produced by the Indian carmaker Tata Motors It was based on the Tata Telcoline. In export market the Sierra was sold as Tata Sport, Tata Telcosport and Tata Grand Telcosport, Tata Gurkha, Tata Loadbeta. History The Tata Sierra was launched in 1991 and is the first off-road Sport Utility vehicle produced by the Indian company; and was based on the Tata Telcoline (pick-up originally launched in 1988 from which it takes the mechanical parts, the front facia and the internal dashboard.) The differences are in the shortened wheelbase at 2.40 meters (compared to the single-cab Telcoline). Tata Motors Limited is an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company, headquartered in Mumbai, India, which is part of the Tata Group. The Tata Sumo is a SUV produced by the Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors from 1994 to 2019. During production its name was changed to Sumo Victa and later to Sumo Gold. History The Sumo was launched in 1994 as a ten-seater rear-wheel-drive SUV primarily designed for military use and off-road transport. It saw great sales success, and more than 100,000 Sumo vehicles were sold prior to 1997. The Auto Expo is a biennial automotive show held in Greater Noida, NCR, India. Till 2012, the Auto Expo was organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi which combined both vehicles and components. In 2014, The Auto Expo (Motor Show) moved to the new venue in NCR Region at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh. However, The Auto Expo (Components) continued at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
