Tasukenin Hashiru
is a Japanese television ''jidaigeki'' or period drama, that was broadcast in 1973–1974. It is the third in the Hissatsu series and is based on Saga Sen's ''Seibei-ryū Gokui''. Plot Seibie used to be a famous bandit. Now Seibie's official job is an employment agency but also he takes charge of killing villains with money. Seibie's targets are always villains who escape justice despite their crimes. Skilled swordsman Nakayama Bunjuro and Tsji Heinai work for him. At first Ryu tries to kill Seibie but he also starts working for him. Jidaigeki
is a genre of film, television, video game, and theatre in Japan. Literally meaning "period dramas", they are most often set during the Edo period of Japanese history, from 1603 to 1868. The is a long-running prime-time popular television Jidaigeki series about assassins in Japan. Shin Hissatsu Shiokinin
is a Japanese jidaigeki or period television drama. It is the tenth in the Hissatsu series. The drama is a sequel to Hissatsu Shiokinin. Shin Hissatsu Shiokinin is one of the most popular Jidaigeki dramas in Japan. Former professional Baseball player Fumio Fujimura made his first appearance as an actor. Plot In the final episode of ''Hissatsu Shiokinin'', Nenbutsu no Tetsu left Edo but he returned and became a member of Tora no kai. One day he is surprised that Nakamura Mondo's name was mentioned and that he was targeted for murder in Tora no kai. Tetsu breaks the rule of Tora no kai and helps Mondo. Tetsu and Mondo reunite for the first time in four years. They start killing villains again under the rule of Tora no Kai. Hissatsu Shiokiya Kagyō
is a Japanese television ''jidaigeki'' or period drama that was broadcast in 1975–1976. It is the 6th in the Hissatsu series. Kenji Misumi was hospitalized while directing episode 13 where he later died. Plot Nakamura Mondo retired from professional killer's job but a woman(Okō) suddenly visits Mondo and urges him to withdraw his retirement. He refuses once but he finally decides to come back from his retirement. Mondo coincidentally witnessed murder during his patrol. The man who committed murder was a lonely assassin, Ichimatsu. Ichimatsu is a bamboo craftsman but he is also a professional killer. Ichimatsu thought of killing Mondo because he was witnessed his murder by Mondo. is a Japanese television ''jidaigeki'' or period drama that was broadcast in 1973. It is the 2nd in the Hissatsu series. Hissatsu Shiokinin is one of the most popular ''jidaigeki'' dramas in Japan. Plot A group of common merchants in Edo city(Tokyo) in the mid-1800s is really a band of assassins available for hire. Each assassin has his own unique killing style. is a Japanese television ''jidaigeki'' or period drama that was broadcast in 1972–1973. It was the first in the Hissatsu series and is based on Shōtarō Ikenami's novel ''Shiokinin Fujieda Baian''. Kenji Misumi
(2 March 1921 – 24 September 1975) was a Japanese film director. He created film series such as ''Lone Wolf and Cub'' and the initial film in the long-running ''Zatoichi'' series, and also directed ''Hanzo the Razor: Sword of Justice'', starring Shintaro Katsu. He died at age 54. In 2012, his 1973 film ''Sakura no Daimon'' was voted by Makoto Shinozaki at the BFI The Top 50 Greatest Films of All Time. Biography Kenji Misumi was born on March 2, 1921. His father was a Kobe entrepreneur Fukujiro Misumi and his mother was a geisha from Kyoto's pleasure district who went by the name Shizu. The parents were not in a formal relationship and neither parent wanted to take care of Kenji. This led to him being taken care of by his aunt Shika with Fukujiro financially supporting him. Sō Yamamura
was a Japanese actor and film director. He was also known by the name Satoshi Yamamura, while his actual birth name is Koga Hirosada. Yamamura graduated from University of Tokyo. In 1942, Yamamura and Isao Yamagata formed the ''Bunkaza Theatre Company''. He began his career as a screen actor in 1946 and appeared in more than 110 films between 1947 and 1991. In 1953, he debuted as a director with his film Kanikōsen and directed other three films. Yamamura was introduced to Western audiences in the 1958 film The Barbarian and the Geisha. In the US, he is well known for his portrayals of Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto of the Combined Fleet, in ''Tora! Tora! Tora!'', and of Mr. Sakamoto, the CEO of Assan Motors in ''Gung Ho''.
