Tasters (band)
Tasters (formerly known as Taster's Choice) is an Italian metalcore band from Livorno, Italy. They formed in 1999 and have released two studio albums, ''Shining'' (2005) and ''The Rebirth'' (2009). As part of the metalcore scene, Tasters has opened for Cancer Bats, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Sonic Syndicate, Evergreen Terrace, Terror, Aiden and other American bands touring abroad. In December 2009, they toured with Scottish band Bleed from Within and as headliners in February–March 2010, also touring Russia for 30 shows. In June 2011, Tasters announced that the band has signed to Nuclear Blast Nuclear Blast is a record label and mail order record distributor with subsidiaries in Germany, the United States and Brazil. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Vocalists in the genre typically use thrash or scream vocals. Some later metalcore bands combine this with clean singing, often during the chorus. Cancer Bats
Cancer Bats is a Canadian hardcore punk band from Toronto, Ontario. To date, they have released seven studio albums and six extended plays; with their most recent LP, ''Psychic Jailbreak'', having been released on 15 April 2022. The band is currently composed of lead vocalist Liam Cormier, drummer Mike Peters and bassist/guitarist Jaye R. Schwarzer. Thirty Seconds to Mars (commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars) is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. The band consists of brothers Jared Leto (lead vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards) and Shannon Leto (drums, percussion). During the course of its existence, it has undergone various line-up changes. Sonic Syndicate
Sonic Syndicate is a Swedish metalcore band from Falkenberg. They were formerly influenced by Swedish melodic death metal bands such as In Flames and Soilwork and American metalcore bands like Killswitch Engage and All That Remains. The band was founded in 2002 by brothers and songwriters Richard and Roger Sjunnesson (screamed vocals and guitars respectively) with their younger cousin Robin Sjunnesson (guitars) under the name Fallen Angels. Evergreen Terrace is a five-piece American metalcore band from Jacksonville, Florida. Formed in 1999, they are named after the street inhabited by the Simpsons. The band's sixth and latest studio album ''Dead Horses'' was released on December 10, 2013, via Rise Records.
