Tasos Telloglou
Tasos Telloglou ( el, Τάσος Τέλλογλου; born 1961) is a Greek investigative journalist. He is one of the presenters of the weekly news program "Special Report" on ANT1. He also writes for the newspaper Kathimerini. He was born in Ampelokipi, Athens in 1961. He studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He started his journalistic career in 1986 writing for the newspaper ''I PROTI'' until 1989. He has been a Germany correspondent for the daily Greek newspaper ''Kathimerini'' from 1990 to 1997 and for the ''Mega Channel'' from 1993 to 2000. For two years from 1998, Tasos Telloglou along with the journalists Alexis Papahelas and Pavlos Tsimas, presented the program "''Mavro Kouti''" ("The Black Box") in Mega Channel. "Prosopa" Greek Television Awards
The "Prosopa" Greek Television Awards were annual awards about the Greek television. They were the only notable awards in the history of Greek television, since they lasted thirteen years, covering the most successful period of the Greek television. They began in 1997, organised by Tv Ethnos, a magazine issued by the Greek newspaper Ethnos. The last awards were given in 2009. The next years the awards stopped because the productions of Greek television were limited due to Greek debt crisis. The last years the awards were sponsored by telecommunications company WIND Hellas. Ethnos ( el, Έθνος, lit="The Nation") is the name of a Greek weekly newspaper first published in 1913. History The newspaper was first published in 1913 with a Venizelist political thesis. Always in the progressive political spectrum, it supported later Georgios Papandreou and Center Union. In 1970, during the Greek military junta of 1967-74, it was forced to stop publishing.
