Task Force On The Implementation Of Amendment 64
The Task Force on the Implementation of Amendment 64 was a task force of the U.S. State of Colorado charged with considering and resolving a number of policy, legal and procedural issues relating to Colorado Amendment 64, which allows for personal use and regulation of marijuana. On 10 December 2012 Governor Hickenlooper signed Executive Order B 2012-004 to create the Task Force to "consider and resolve a number of policy, legal and procedural issues". The task force had a deadline of February 28 to submit its proposals, and on March 13, 2013 issued 58 recommendations on how recreational pot should be grown, sold and taxed in the state. Vicki Marble is an American politician who served in the Colorado Senate from the 23rd district as a member of the Republican Party. Early life Vicki Marble was born to Fred Marble Jr. and Catharine Mary Connaghan. She worked as a bail bonder. State legislature Elections During the 2012 election Marble announced her campaign for the Republican nomination for a seat in the Colorado House of Representatives from the 49th district. She later sought the Republican nomination for a seat in the Colorado Senate from the 23rd district to succeed term-limited Senator Shawn Mitchell. She defeated Glenn Vaad for the Republican nomination and Democratic nominee Lee Kemp in the general election. She defeated Democratic nominee T.J. Cole in the 2016 election. The office consists of 21 regional trial offices, a centralized appellate office that handles appeals from every jurisdiction, and a centralized state administrative office.
