The Taoyuan Pauian Archiland (), also translated as Taoyuan Pure-Youth Construction, is a semi-professional basketball team formerly in the Super Basketball League (SBL) of Taiwan. History The franchise derives its history from the celebrated Hung Kuo Elephants (宏國象) as they created the only dynasty of the defunct Chinese Basketball Alliance in Taiwan (CBA-Taiwan) between 1996 and 1998. Under the previous ownership by Sina.com and corporate sponsorship by BenQ, the team had also competed in the Chinese Basketball Association of the People's Republic of China (CBA-PRC) in the 2001–2002 and 2002–2003 seasons as the Sina Lions (新浪獅) or BenQ-Sina Lions (明基新浪獅) before becoming a founding member of the SBL in 2003. Taoyuan, Taiwan
Taoyuan () is a special municipality of the Republic of China (Taiwan) located in northwestern Taiwan, neighboring New Taipei City to the north-east, Yilan County to the south-east, and Hsinchu County to the south-west. Taoyuan District is the seat of the municipal government and which, along with Zhongli District, forms a large metropolitan area. The Yulon Luxgen Dinos are a basketball team in the Super Basketball League in Taiwan. It was founded in 1965 by Yulon Motor's (or the Taiwanese Car Manufacturer Luxgen) Chairman as a First Division amateur basketball team. The Dacin Tigers () was a semi-professional basketball club based in Taipei, Taiwan that plays in the Super Basketball League ( SBL). They won SBL championships in 2009 and 2017. The Bayi Rockets () was a professional basketball team based in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China, which played in the South Division of the Chinese Basketball Association. Yen Hsing-Shu
Yen Hsing-su (; born 8 September 1976), also known as Johnny Yen, is a Taiwanese basketball coach and former basketball player, singer and actor. Since 2017 he has been the assistant coach of the Chinese Taipei men's national basketball team. From 2015 to 2017 he coached the Fubon Braves in Taiwan's Super Basketball League. Nicknamed "The Basketball Genie" (籃球精靈) for his playmaking skills, Yen was a regular of the Chinese Taipei national basketball team from 1997 to 2003. At the 2003 ABC Championship, he led the tournament in assists (4.7 per game), but retired soon afterwards to pursue a career in entertainment. Lee Chung-Hee (Hangul: 이충희, born November 7, 1959 in Cheolwon, Gangwon Province) is a retired South Korean basketball player. He played as a shooting guard. Garret Andrew Siler (born October 25, 1986) is an American professional basketball player for Marinos de Anzoátegui of the Venezuelan Liga Profesional de Baloncesto (LPB). He formerly played center for Augusta State University (now Augusta University). When he went undrafted in the 2009 NBA Draft, he first signed with the D-League's Utah Flash and then the Chinese Basketball Association's Shanghai Sharks.
