Zhaixing Villa
The Zhaixing Villa () is a former house in Tanzi District, Taichung, Taiwan. Name The name ''Zhaixing'' means plucking stars. History The building was constructed by Qing Dynasty General Lin Chi-chung which was started in 1871 and completed in 1879. In 1997, the former house was declared a historical building and was taken over by Taichung County Government. Architecture The building is a traditional courtyard house which is surrounded by garden, quadrangles and has a pond in front. It features a coffee shop and souvenir shop. Tzu-Chiang Limited Express
The Tze-Chiang Express, also spelled "Tzu-chiang" or "Ziqiang" () is a type of express train service operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) in Taiwan. Of the five service classes operated by the TRA, the Tze-Chiang trains is the fastest category. Ticketing is done on the basis of mileage (NT$2.27 per km with a 10 km minimum fee). This service is operated with 7 different trainsets: the E1000 series, the EMU1200 ( electric multiple unit), EMU300, TEMU1000 (''Taroko Express''), DR2800 ( diesel multiple unit), DR3100, and the TEMU2000 (''Puyuma Express''). The now-retired EMU100 was the first trainset built for this service, which was used for 30 years, terminating ordinary runs at June 15, 2009. Fengyuan Station
Fengyuan () is a railway station in Taichung, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railways. It was formerly a terminus for the now-defunct TRA Dongshi line and a current terminus for local trains that specifically travel via Taichung railway station,Xinwuri railway station, Taichung Port railway station and Zhunan railway station connecting Taichung line and Coast Line. South-link Line
The South-link line () is a line of the Taiwan Railways Administration running across the southern tip of the island of Taiwan, connecting the eastern and western coasts. It is 98.2 km long, of which 81.4 km is single-track. The section between Nanzhou and Linbian railway stations was upgraded from a single-track railway to a dual-track railway while the other sections remains in single-track. In conjunction with electrification works on the line, train platforms are being lengthened and upgraded with better facilities.
