Tanko Braimah (born 12 May 1979) is a Ghanaian sprinter who specialized in the 200 metres. He competed at both the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games, but without success. In 2000 he was disqualified in the 200 metres heats for lane infrigiment. In 2004 he competed in the 4 x 100 metres relay, but the team was knocked out in the heat. Tanko Dyakov ( bg, Танко Дяков; born 18 August 1984) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a defender. Career Early career Born in Stara Zagora, Dyakov started his career at Beroe, a club from his hometown, for which he made 16 appearances, scoring one goal, but lack of first team opportunities prompted a move to Levski Hyunday in July 2003. Year later he was transferred to Minyor Radnevo. After a good season at Minyor, Dyakov was scouted by Slavia Sofia. Slavia In June 2005 Dyakov signed a contract at Slavia until 30 June 2008. Alhaji Tanko Yakasai OFR (born 5 December 1925) is a Nigerian politician, human rights activist and former Liaison Officer to President Shehu Shagari. Colonel Tanko Zubairu was the Military Administrator of Imo State, Nigeria from August 1996 until May 1999, when he handed over to the elected civilian governor Achike Udenwa. During his tenure, he had to deal with violent protests over ritual killings. In 1997 he signed warrants for execution by firing squad of six men accused of this crime. Abubakar Tanko Ayuba (6 December 1945 – 25 May 2016) was a Nigerian politician who was elected senator for the Kebbi South constituency in Kebbi State, Nigeria in April 2007.
