Tangra (band)
Tangra (Bulgarian:Тангра) is a Bulgarian rock band founded in 1976 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The group is one of the most popular Bulgarian rock bands from the '80s, '90s and nowadays. History Founders of the band are the musicians: Borislav Panov (keyboard) former member of "Shturcite" band who gave the name "TANGRA" to the band, Konstantin Markov (bass guitar), Alexander Petrunov (vocal), Vasil Naydenov (piano) and Marcel Baruch (drums). The band accompanied the singers Yordanka Hristova, Bogdana Karadocheva and other pop singers in their concerts. In 1978 they released the band's first album with the songs "Ако имаш време"(If You have time) and "Пътища"(Roads). In 1979, Cvetan Vladovski was invited to be the new vocalist of the group. Anton Bubev was drummer after Marcel Baruch left the band. Since 1981 Emil Gerasimov has been the band's drummer. Tangra, Kolkata
Tangra is a region in East Kolkata that traditionally housed many tanneries owned by people of Hakka Chinese origin. Overview "47 South Tangra Road", may be the most confusing postal address, as it used to cover the whole of Chinatown Tangra with over 350 tanneries. Most of the standing structures have been built, over many years, by the industrious Hakka Chinese, upon marshy and reclaimed low-lying land. Over the past several decades, it has served as the location of Calcutta's Chinatown. This is not a coincidence; the Hakka Chinese of Calcutta have gradually turned this part of the Kolkata into an important destination for sourcing finished and semi-finished leather. WASP-21
WASP-21 is a G-type star ( spectral type G3V) that is reaching the end of its main sequence lifetime approximately 850 light years from Earth in the constellation of Pegasus. The star is relatively metal-poor, having 40% of heavy elements compared to the Sun. Kinematically, WASP-21 belongs to the thick disk of the Milky Way. It has an exoplanet named WASP-21b. The survey in 2012 have failed to find any stellar companions to WASP-21. Naming In 2019 the WASP-21 system was chosen as part of the NameExoWorlds campaign organised by the International Astronomical Union, which assigned each country a star and planet to be named. WASP-21 was assigned to Bulgaria. The winning proposal named the star Tangra after a deity worshipped by the early Bulgars, and the planet Bendida after a deity worshipped by the Thracians.
