Tang Shiu Kin Victoria Government Secondary School
Tang Shiu Kin Victoria Government Secondary School (鄧肇堅維多利亞官立中學) was founded by the Hong Kong Government in 1933. Named the Junior Technical School (初級工業學校) initially, and then the Victoria Technical School (維多利亞工業學校) since the 1950s, it is the first government-founded technical college in Hong Kong. The school is now located at 5 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Currently, the principal is Mr. Yan-kei CHAN. History In 1931, the Hong Kong Government has set up the committee to discuss the possibility of the introduction of the technical training and education. YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College (), abbreviated as YHKCC, is a secondary school located at Tung Chung, Lantau Island, Hong Kong operated under the Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) of the Education Bureau. Ying Wa College
Ying Wa College (also referred to as YWC, Anglo-Chinese College, ) is a direct subsidised boys' secondary school in Kowloon, Hong Kong near Nam Cheong station. It was established (as the Anglo-Chinese College) in Malacca in 1818 by the first Protestant missionary to China, Rev. Robert Morrison. In 1843, the college was moved to Hong Kong. Being the only school with over 200 years of history, it is the oldest school in Hong Kong. Sir Shiu-kin Tang CBE, KStJ, Justice of the peace, JP (; 21 March 1901 – 19 June 1986) was a Hong Kong entrepreneur and philanthropist. In 1933, he co-founded Kowloon Motor Bus and is known through the public service institutions he funded and founded in Hong Kong, many of which bear his name. Sir Robert Ho Tung Bosman, (22 December 1862 – 26 April 1956), also known as Sir Robert Ho Tung, was a businessman and philanthropist in British Hong Kong.
