Akihide Tamura
is a Japanese photographer. He was born in Tokyo on 13 March 1947 as Shigeru Tamura (, ''Tamura Shigeru'').Akihide Tamura should not be confused with the well-known photographer Shigeru Tamura (1909–87), whose name is even written with the same ''kanji.'' (Perhaps part of the reason for the younger Tamura's change of name was to avoid this very confusion.) He studied at Tokyo College of Photography, graduating first in 1967 and then from a more advanced course two years later. Tamura's first solo exhibition — under the name Shigeru Tamura () — was ''Yume no hikari'' (Dream light) in Ginza Nikon Salon in 1969. is a Japanese pop singer and songwriter who made her solo debut in 1994 with the song ''Jiyuu no Hashi''. She is best known for singing theme songs for popular Anime series such as ''Yuzurenai Negai'' for ''Magic Knight Rayearth'' and ''Yuragu Koto Nai Ai'' for ''Get Backers''. was a Japanese photographer notable for his work in fashion and photojournalism. Tamura was born in Sapporo, Hokkaidō. Shigeru was an assumed name; Tamura's personal name was probably Torashige.The reference books agree that his original name was , but none yet seen specifies the reading of . Sakae Tamura (nature Photographer)
was a Japanese magazine editor and photographer of nature. Tamura was born in Chiba in 1910, but his family moved to Tokyo in 1924. Under the influence of his father, an amateur photographer, he started taking photographs in 1927. Tamura worked from 1936 till 1973 in a succession of editorial posts, mostly preparing educational materials about nature. The first of these was within Kōgasha (), where he worked on the photography magazine ''Gekkan Kogata Kamera'' (). is a retired Japanese female judoka and a politician. Competing in the extra-lightweight (48 kg) class, she won a record seven world titles and five Olympic medals including two golds at Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004.
