Tamilla Agamirova
Tamilla Sujaevna Agamirova ( Russian: Тамилла Суджаевна Агамирова, 21 May 1928 – 31 August 2021) was a Soviet and Azerbaijani film and theatre actress, and the wife of the chief director of the Romen Theatre, Nikolai Slichenko. Biography Agamirova was born in Baku in the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic in 1928 and graduated from the Baku Theater Institute, now known as the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, in 1951. Since 1952, she performed in the Romen Theater in more than 50 different roles in Russian and foreign performances. Her first role on stage at the Romen was in the play ''Stubborn Hearts'', for which she was nominated for the Stalin Prize. Agamirova died on 31 August 2021 at the age of 93. The Order of Honour ( rus, орден Почёта, r=orden Pachyota) is a state order of the Russian Federation established by Presidential Decree No. 442 of March 2, 1994 to recognise high achievements in government, economic, scientific, sociocultural, public, sport and charitable activities. Its statute was amended by decree No. 19 of January 6, 1999 and more lately by decree No. 1099 of January 7, 2010 which defined its present status. ''Matteo Falcone'' ( az, Matteo Falkone) is an Azerbaijani short drama film based on Prosper Mérimée's like-named story from 1829. Plot Matteo Falcone is a successful Corsican, who lives with his wife Giuseppa and 10-year-old son Fortunato. One day he leaves home with Giuseppa, leaving Fortunato alone. Suddenly, a wounded bandit chased by soldiers arrives and introduces himself as Gianetto Sanpiero. He expects asylum in Matteo Falcone's house. Fortunato at first declines to hide Gianetto, but when the bandit offers a piece of silver, the boy conceals him beneath the hay. USSR State Prize
The USSR State Prize (russian: links=no, Государственная премия СССР, Gosudarstvennaya premiya SSSR) was the Soviet Union's state honor. It was established on 9 September 1966. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the prize was followed up by the State Prize of the Russian Federation. The State Stalin Prize ( Государственная Сталинская премия, ''Gosudarstvennaya Stalinskaya premiya''), usually called the Stalin Prize, existed from 1941 to 1954, although some sources give a termination date of 1952. It essentially played the same role; therefore upon the establishment of the USSR State Prize, the diplomas and badges of the recipients of Stalin Prize were changed to that of USSR State Prize.
