Massimo Tamburini
Massimo Tamburini (November 28, 1943 – April 6, 2014) was an Italian motorcycle designer for Cagiva, Ducati, and MV Agusta, and one of the founders of Bimota. Tamburini's designs are iconic in their field, with one critic calling him the "Michelangelo of motorbike design". His Ducati 916 and MV Agusta F4 were included in the Guggenheim Museum's ''The Art of the Motorcycle'' exhibit of 1998–1999. He lived and worked in San Marino at the Cagiva Research Center (, CRC), a subsidiary of Cagiva now MV Agusta, from which he retired on December 31, 2008. Early life Tamburini was born on November 28, 1943, in Rimini, where his family were farmers. Although he aspired to attend university, for financial reasons he instead attended the ''Istituto Tecnico Industriale di Rimini'', a technical school in Rimini. Tommaso Tamburini (6 March 1591 – 10 October 1675) was an Italian Jesuit moral theologian. Life Also known under the name of R. P. Thoma Tamburino. He was born at Caltanisetta in Sicily, and entered the Society of Jesus when fifteen years old; there he became distinguished for a talent for teaching. Alter a successful course of studies he held the professorship of philosophy four years, of dogmatic theology seven years, of moral theology seventeen years, and during thirteen years was rector of various colleges. Antonio Tamburini (28 March 1800 – 8 November 1876) was an Italian operatic baritone.Randel (1996) p. 900. Biography Born in Faenza, then part of the Papal States, Tamburini studied the orchestral horn with his father and voice with Aldobrando Rossi, before making his debut as a singer, aged 18, in ''La contessa di colle erbose'' (Pietro Generali). He went on to become one of the finest baritones of his age. He had a beautiful, smooth and flexible voice the quality of which is indicated by the bel canto music written for him. Juri Tamburini (born 7 July 1977) is an Italian footballer who played for many years in Serie B. Biography Born in Cattolica, the Province of Rimini, Romagna, Tamburini started his career at Romagna team Cesena. He played for Cesena in 1995–96 Anglo-Italian Cup. He left for Chieti and played 29 games in 1996–97 Serie C2. In 1999 Tamburini left for Vicenza. He left for Salernitana in temporary deal after Vicenza promoted back to 2000–01 Serie A. Roberto Tamburini (born 15 January 1991 in Rimini) is an Italian motorcycle racer. For 2022 he was a late addition to the 2022 Superbike World Championship, entered as riding for a one-bike Motoxracing Yamaha team. Tamburini has competed in the European Superstock 1000 Championship and the CIV Superbike Championship aboard an BMW S1000RR. He has previously competed in the 125cc class of the Grand Prix Motorcycle World Championship. In 2010 he raced full-time in the Supersport class of the Italian national championship (CIV), winning the title by 4 points. Tullio Tamburini (22 April 1892 – 1957) was an Italian soldier, adventurer and fascist official. Life Born in Prato, Tamburini had been a schoolteacher in Florence but was sacked from his job. Stefano Tamburini (18 August 1955 – April 1986) was an Italian graphic artist, comics author and magazine publisher. Tamburini is primarily known as co-creator of the comic book character RanXerox, with Tanino Liberatore.
