Tam Ping-man
Tam Ping-man (14 November 1933 – 5 September 2020) was a Hong Kong actor and singer. With his deep-rooted dubbing work and nurturing talents, he has been full of talents for half a century and has earned him the reputation of "dubbing king". Some of his most famous dubbing work includes being the voice of the U.S. actor Marlon Brando in the movie ''The Godfather'' (1972) and Charlie Townsend in the U.S. TV series ''Charlie's Angels'' (1976 to 1981). In addition, he was the first horse racing commentator in Hong Kong. Besides dubbing work, Tam was an avid actor, he has recurring appearances in the popular variety show '' Enjoy Yourself Tonight'' or ''EYT'', he had also starred in many well-known TVB TV series such as ''A House Is Not a Home (TV series)'', ''Yesterday's Glitter'', ''The Shell Game'', ''The Misadventure of Zoo'' etc. Tam had a long-time on-screen partner who was also a well known Hong Kong actress, Lee Heung-kam. British Hong Kong
Hong Kong was a colony and later a dependent territory of the British Empire from 1841 to 1997, apart from a period of occupation under the Japanese Empire from 1941 to 1945 during the Pacific War. TVB Anniversary Awards
The TVB Anniversary Awards (), officially known as the TVB Awards Presentation, is an annual awards ceremony honoring TVB's programming achievements in Hong Kong television; despite claims that it is the region's equivalent to the American Emmy and the Australian Logie, no other networks are allowed to enter their programmes into TVB competition, and it is awarded solely to TVB programming. Winners are awarded a copy of the golden TVB anniversary statuette, which depicts a man and a woman holding up TVB's square logo. The TVB Anniversary Awards are only one of three (four, including Asian Television Awards) TVB awards given out. Lee Heung-kam (13 January 1932 – 4 January 2021) was a Hong Kong Cantonese opera and TVB actress. Career She joined the entertainment industry when she was 14 years old. Since 1960, she became known for being an antagonist in many Cantonese operas, films and TV drama series. This lasted until the 80's when her roles were re-typecasted as a kind mother or a spiteful mother-in-law. Over 70 years in the acting profession, Lee has played the roles of mother, mother-in-law and grandmother of many famous Chinese actors and actresses. Each role has different personality and emotion, demonstrating her superb acting skills.
