Tallisha Harden (born 21 July 1992) is an Australian rugby league footballer who captains the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL Women's Premiership. Primarily a er, she is an Australian and Queensland representative and previously played for the Brisbane Broncos and Sydney Roosters. Playing career Rugby union A former Australian representative indoor volleyball player, Harden began playing rugby union at age 19. She played for Sunnybank and Queensland before switching full-time to rugby league in 2018. Rugby league In 2013, Harden began playing rugby league. In 2014, she represented the Indigenous All Stars. In 2015, 2016 and 2020, she captained the side. On 3 May 2015, she made her Test debut for Australia, coming off the bench in a 22–14 win over New Zealand at Suncorp Stadium. Logan City is a local government area situated within the south of the Brisbane metropolitan area in South East Queensland, Australia. The Willows Sports Complex, currently known as 1300SMILES Stadium through Naming rights, sponsorship, is a grass football stadium situated in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. The Gold Coast Titans are a professional rugby league football club, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. 2023 NRL Women's Season
The 2023 NRLW Premiership was the sixth professional season of Women's rugby league in Australia. As announced in March 2022 by the governing body, the National Rugby League, the number of teams increased from six to ten. The duration of the season was confirmed by the NRL in a media release on 14 February 2023 as nine rounds followed by semi-finals and a Grand Final. Contracted players were paid for a seven-week preparation period prior to the commencement of the competition, plus two weeks leave, for a total of 20 weeks. The contract period for players was, however, twelve months. The announcement also confirmed a rise in the salary cap from $350,000 in 2022 to $900,000 in 2023. WIN Stadium
Wollongong Showground, known as WIN Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Wollongong, Australia. The stadium was officially opened in 1911. From 1982 until 1998 it played host to every home match for the Illawarra Steelers NRL team, and is still the team's home ground in the lower grade competitions.
