''Talaash'' (Urdu: تلاش, literal English translation: "search") is the second studio album of the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, released on September 3, 1993. The album was to be their first with bassist Brian O'Connell, who joined the band after Nusrat Hussain departed from the band to pursue his career as a solo artist and released his debut album ''Amrit'' in 1992. This was also the first Junoon album produced by Salman Ahmad and O'Connell, both also went on releasing several other albums by Junoon before O'Connell left the band after ''Dewaar'' in 2003. The album also served as a soundtrack for the Pakistani television show '' Talaash'', which featured the band and its novel storyline was based on the band. The only single from the album was " Talaash" which is a socio-political song written by lead guitarist Salman Ahmad. Other popular songs from the album include "Heeray", "Woh" and "Bheegi Yaadein". "Talaash" (Urdu: تلاش, literal English translation: "search") is a song by the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon. It is the seventh track and the only single released from the band's second album, '' Talaash'' (1993), released on EMI Records. Written by guitarist Salman Ahmad, it is the lead single on the album. The song uses blending of rock guitars and bluesy vocals with eastern elements like the use of tablas. It remains one of the band's most popular songs. In addition, the album version of the song featured in the compilation album, ''Kashmakash'', released in 1995. The song is politically-influenced and became subject to censorship, which led to the eventual ban from all state-run television and radio during the rule of the then Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif. ''Talaash'' (English: "The Search") is an Indian drama series that aired in 1992 on Doordarshan. It is based on the novel ''Sonar Kathi Rupor Kathi'' by Ashutosh Mukherjee. Vishram Bedekar
Vishwanath Chintamani Bedekar (1906–1998), who professionally used the name Vishram Bedekar, was an Indian Marathi-language writer and film director. Bedekar was born on August 13, 1906 in Amravati. After receiving his college degree in Amravati, he went to Nagpur for his post-graduate studies. During his college days, he was drawn to English literature and theater. He moved to Pune in the 1930s. In 1938, he married Malati Bedekar, (whose maiden name was Balutai Khare). Literary work Bedekar wrote his only novel ''Ranangan'' in 1939. It portrayed romantic love between an Indian youth and a German Jewish girl against the backdrop of World War II, and created a storm in literary circles in his times, and was translated into English in 2021. ''Talash'' is a 1969 Hindi drama film directed by O. P. Ralhan starring Rajendra Kumar and Sharmila Tagore in lead roles. This was the first Indian movie which was publicised as having a budget of Rs 1 Crore (i.e. INR 10 Millions). Plot Raj Kumar (Rajendra Kumar) dreams of a life of prosperity. When he learns that his mother (Sulochana Latkar) has struggled for years to give him the best, he takes a job at Ranjit Rai (Balraj Sahni)'s company. His hard work pays off and he is able to earn the trust of his boss and get promoted to a good post. On a vacation with his friend Lachchu (O. P. Talash (UAV)
Talash ( fa, تلاش) or "Hadaf (Target) UAV" is a simple Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). It is the first drone produced by Iranian drone maker Quds Air Industries, and possesses a maximum speed of 140 km/h. The Talash is based on plans drawn up by Isfahan Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (Isfahan University Jihad) researchers in 1985. The Talash UAV has small dimensions, is controlled by PCM radio control, and can perform a variety of in-flight maneuvers including rolling/twisting and turning. There are 2 models of the Talash, namely: Talash-1 and Talash-2, which have several differences. The speed of the first model (Talash-1) is 120 km/h, whereas Talash-2's speed is 140 km/h.
