Talagang District
Talagang District (Urdu/ pa, ) is a district of Rawalpindi Division in Pothohar Plateau of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located in the north of the Punjab province. Talagang district is bordered by Khushab to its south, Attock to its north, Chakwal to its east, an Mianwali to its west. The district was created out of part of Chakwal on 13 October 2022. It was created after four new districts were created alongside Talagang. Lawa Tehsil
Lawa (لاوہ), is a tehsil of Talagang in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Initially it was part of Talagang Tehsil and is located with an altitude of 508 metres (1669 feet) and lies adjacent to Mianwali District. Lawa is pre-dominantly inhabited by the Awan tribe. Mianwali District
The Mianwali District ( ur, ), is a district located in Sargodha Division of Punjab province, Pakistan. It was separated from NWFP in 1901, and has a border with the Chakwal, Attock,Kohat, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Bhakkar, and Khushab Districts. The main languages spoken in the district include Saraiki (76.05%), Pashto (11.53%), Punjabi (9.35%), and Urdu (2.76%). Attock District (Urdu and pnb, ) is a district in Pothohar Plateau of the Punjab Province of Pakistan. Its capital is Attock city. The district was created in April 1904 by the merging of tehsils of nearby districts. Its former name was Campbellpur. Pothohar Plateau
The Pothohar Plateau ( ur, ) is a plateau in north-eastern Pakistan, located between Indus River and the Jhelum River, forming the northern part of Punjab. Geography Potohar Plateau is bounded on the east by the Jhelum River, on the west by the Indus River, on the north by the Kala Chitta Range and the Margalla Hills, and on the south by the Salt Range. The southern end of the plateau is bounded by the Thal desert. The 5000 square miles of the plateau range from an average height of 1200 to 1900 feet above the sea level. Sakesar in the Salt Range is the highest mountain of the region and Tilla Jogian is the second highest.
